THE POSITION: FLEET MANAGER
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. As a Fleet Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our companys nationwide fleet operations always ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills as well as a deep understanding of logistics and fleet management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Fleet & Operations
Implement web based tools and apps provided by our Enterprise Fleet Management.
Manage fleet assets including vehicles and equipment.
2. Vehicle Acquisition & Lifecycle Management
Select purchase or lease vehicles based on business needs and budget.
Plan fleet replacement cycles and disposal of aging assets.
Coordinate all new van setup tasks.
Track vehicle depreciation and total cost of ownership.
3. Maintenance & Safety
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend vehicle life reduce breakdowns and minimize down time.
Ensure vehicles meet all safety standards and regulations.
Handle accident response repairs and insurance claims.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
Assist with all accident reporting by following all TSS guidelines for repairs substance testing insurance claims and other related items.
Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations governing fleet operations including DOT OSHA EPA and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain driver qualifications licensing and training records.
Track all driver and vehicle violations/citations.
Coordinate all appropriate DMV related tasks including registrations emissions inspections etc.
5. Fuel & Cost Management
Monitor fuel consumption and implement fuel efficiency strategies.
Negotiate with fuel card providers or fueling stations.
Track operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
6. Telematics & Data Analytics
Use GPS telematics and fleet management software to monitor vehicle performance.
Analyze data to optimize efficiency reduce idle time and improve driver behavior.
Generate reports for leadership on cost safety and utilization.
Prepare monthly performance reports regarding speeding start and stop times parking tickets DMV violations
7. Driver Management & Training
Set policies for safe driving compliance and performance standards.
Provide ongoing training on safety technology and company procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role with 5 years of experience managing a nationwide fleet of at least 150 vehicles
Strong knowledge of fleet management software and systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
CDL (Commercial Drivers License) may be required depending on fleet composition.
Certification in fleet management (e.g. Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $80-$90k commensurate with experience
