Position Summary
We are looking for a teammate who loves working in a school environment and is looking to be part of a dynamic team! This role is responsible for ensuring our students have access to nutritional meals to support the development of healthy minds and bodies. The food server provider will support the food service program for the KIPP Bayview Academy campus/students. This is a part-time role reporting to the Directors of School Operations for the middle school.

Physical Mental and Environmental Demands
Physical:
Ability to cart food from one location to another. Ability to access and utilize technology. Occasional lifting/carrying of equipment up to 40 lbs.
Mental:
Stress of deadlines and normal work standards ability to analyze problems and generate alternatives work with interruptions concentrate for long periods of time read calculate perform routine math problems memorize and recall objects and people.
Environmental: School and classroom environment subject to constant interruptions and distractions. Adhere to KIPPs health and safety guidelines as outlined by the CDC CDE and public health agencies recommendations.
Classification
Part-time non-exempt position based on the school calendar. This teammate will work 30 hours/week serving breakfast and lunch from approximately 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM daily.

Compensation
We are dedicated to you and your familys well-being! We offer a competitive pay rate and this position is eligible for benefits. The starting pay for this position is between $18.67 - $21.08/hr.
