Job Summary

About the Opportunity

The Technical Director (TD) works on multiple projects and enables design teams to create exceptional outcomes by assisting with technical design detailing specification and documentation. They lead the creation of project specifications manage QA/QC processes and contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of firm-wide technical standards and Revit templates. This is a senior leadership role with direct impact on the quality and delivery of diverse projects.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design.
  • Accredited degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Licensed Architect in California (NCARB certification and additional jurisdictions a plus).
  • LEED and/or WELL Accreditation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Strong experience in commercial interiors workplace retail and hospitality projects.
  • Expert knowledge of California Building Codes and construction documentation.
  • Skilled in specification writing and materials research.
  • Proven leadership mentorship and collaborative team skills.
