Accountancy Lecturer Fixed Term

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of accountants We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accountancy Lecturer to join our Adult Skills team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across our Accountancy programmes helping learners achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Youll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons assessing student progress and contributing to curriculum development. Whether youre an experienced lecturer or a qualified accountant looking to move into education wed love to hear from you.

This is a Fixed Term role up to 12 months (Maternity Cover)

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role you must have:

• A relevant Accountancy qualification at Level 3 or above
• Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Relevant industry experience in accountancy
• Strong organisational analytical and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across Accountancy programmes
• Develop curriculum materials and assess student work effectively
• Monitor attendance behaviour and progress providing tailored support
• Embed Maths English and Digital Skills into lessons
• Support recruitment and enrolment activities including open days and events
• Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records and support learners with SMART targets
• Participate in team meetings training and professional development
