Job Summary

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dean for our Workforce Development (WFD) program in Albuquerque New this full-time role you will oversee the colleges workforce development initiatives focusing on driving strategic goals and ensuring the effective management of programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader in higher education to guide workforce initiatives and make a lasting impact.

As Dean you will manage administrative tasks related to workforce development provide leadership to a team of per diem faculty and work to meet the programs objectives. You will also support the creation and growth of vocational nursing programs and collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of all workforce-related educational efforts.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the Workforce Development division ensuring the college meets strategic and operational goals.
Manage administrative tasks for the program working closely with faculty and staff to maintain operational efficiency.
Lead the development of vocational nursing programs and the establishment of an associate nursing program.
Provide managerial direction to faculty members (per diem staff) with approximately 8-10 direct reports.
Perform all other related duties to ensure the success of the Workforce Development department.

Qualifications:

Experience in establishing and managing VN/PN programs and building an associate nursing program.
At least 2 years of leadership experience in higher education.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher educational qualification.
Ability to work flexible hours including mornings evenings and occasional weekends.
In-state RN license is required.
Previous experience leading faculty in a higher education setting is a plus.
