Job Summary
RN- Cardiac Neuro Telemetry (Day Shift)
Location: Sanford FL 32771
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care for individuals with cardiac neuro and telemetry monitoring needs.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms neurological status and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide patient and family education on conditions treatments and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient status promptly.
- Adhere to infection control safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent RN acute care experience (within the last 1 2 years) required.
- Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure:
- Florida RN License required or Compact RN License (must apply for FL license).
- If less than 3 years RN experience and no FL license must take NCLEX in FL and pass before consideration.
- Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS (required).
- NIHSS Certification required within 30 days of hire (must work under NIHSS credentials until obtained).
