Job Summary

Job Title : Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Data Migration & GIS Specialist

Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualifications:

Extensive experience implementing and managing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems ensuring efficient lifecycle management of enterprise assets.
Proven background working with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and other state agencies with hands-on involvement in NYSDOT systems processes and operational frameworks.
Strong Software Analyst experience with the ability to study complex application domains gather and analyze business requirements and develop detailed functional and non-functional specifications in accordance with Project Management and Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) standards.
Proficient in SQL for data retrieval reporting and database management with a strong understanding of software technologies and application design principles.
Skilled in Data Migration including migration of legacy Microsoft Access databases to modern data warehouse repositories and enterprise data platforms.
Experienced in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) - gathering and analyzing geospatial data generating reports mapping point-to-location data and documenting system conditions within a GIS framework.
Demonstrated ability to analyze organize and quantify data related to business needs cost-benefit analyses and technical feasibility providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
Proficient in process modeling for optimizing business and system operations identifying innovative solutions and improving customer satisfaction.
Hands-on experience in data analysis and modeling for transactional systems data warehouses and data transformation projects using tools such as Oracle Data Modeler.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and MS Visio for documentation reporting and visual modeling.
Strong communication skills with experience translating complex technical information into clear user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Adept at collaborating in fast-paced multi-stakeholder environments working effectively with senior management business SMEs IT teams and external vendors to align business and technical objectives.
Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting Information Technology or related field
