Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at $Primary School Name. The role is crucial in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for students staff and visitors. The Cleaner will play an essential part in ensuring that the school premises are kept in pristine condition contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming of classrooms hallways and common areas.
- Ensure all restrooms are cleaned sanitized and restocked with necessary supplies.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with school policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for students and staff.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning after school events as required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a cleaning role preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS check.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with school staff and students.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours if needed for special events or deep cleaning tasks.
