Our client a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences is looking for a "Engineering Systems Specialist based out of Tucson AZ

Job Duration: Long term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)

We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will apply advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and practices to develop test and optimize complex systems. This role involves concept generation design validation system integration and performance testing against specifications. The engineer will also support manufacturing process development troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and evaluate design concepts ensuring compliance with performance quality and reliability standards.
Participate in design and technical reviews providing insights and recommendations.
Conduct testing validation and reliability assessments for product and system performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify root causes of issues and propose engineering solutions.
Support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Review and analyze technical data ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Contribute to patentable inventions and innovation initiatives.
Present and discuss technical data within the engineering team.
Promote a Quality First Time culture across all project activities.
Perform other engineering duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Solid understanding of fundamental and some specialized engineering concepts.
Experience in system integration and lab-based equipment testing (hands-on experience preferred).
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and other technical documentation tools.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related discipline).
03 years of relevant experience in design testing or system integration preferred.
