Job Summary

Shift: 5 from 7 Days starting between 16:00pm-20:00pm  (Working days to be discussed during Interview) 

Salary: 14.12 per hour 1.00 per hour night allowance. 

  • The role will include delivering ambient products nationwide. 
  • Report to the transport office at the start of shift
  • Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
  • Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures including all aspects of health safety and hygiene
  • Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
  • Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
  • Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
  • Make deliveries to customers premises acting in a professional manner at all times
  • Immediately report any problems regarding delivery arrival times delays or discrepancies with loads
  • Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery
  • Ensure regular communication with the Transport Office
  • Observe and adhere to site procedures at each delivery point
  • Ensure correct completion of a defect report as and when required
  • Any other duties as reasonably required

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of Two years driving Class 1 vehicles. 
  • Full CE Entitlement along with CPC & Tacho Card.
  • No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
  • Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
  • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
