Job Summary

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the month end close process for your assigned business areas ensuring journals are completed in a technically accurate and timely manner and reconciliations are maintained to a high standard.
- Lead inventory accounting as well as a number of additional areas across the business.
- Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts resolving reconciling items and delivering improvements to the auditability of the schedules.
- Review contract documentation to ensure correct accounting treatment and prepare technical accounting papers.
- Support the annual statutory and cost cap audits.
- Collaborate to develop the Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) to maximise automation and support accurate financial accounting.
- Contribute to ongoing finance transformation projects helping to build best in class finance systems and processes.
Qualifications :
- Qualified Accountant: ACA ACCA CIMA qualified with post qualified experience
- Manufacturing Environment Experience: Experience with inventory accounting is required (ideally in a manufacturing environment).
- Accounting Principles: Solid understanding required.
- Process Improvement: Proven ability to manage and improve financial processes.
- Skills: Problem-solving analytical mindset attention to detail strong communication skills robust Excel skills experience with PowerBI and D365 beneficial.
