Labourer

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montréal-Est Quebec from Monday to Thursday 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM. Under the supervision of the supervisor you will rotate through several workstations with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities include:

• Sorting metals according to their physical and mechanical characteristics;
• Cleaning equipment and work areas to ensure smooth operations;
• Operating various types of machinery as needed (e.g. forklift Bobcat aerial work platform);
• Actively participating in the departments various activities;
• Maintaining cleanliness of your workstation at all times;
• Working safely and adhering to health and safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications :

To join our team:

• You have knowledge of metals and experience operating a forklift (assets);
• You are professional practice safe behavior and follow health and safety instructions;
• You are in good physical condition and comfortable with repetitive tasks such as sorting metals on tables or the floor;
• You are versatile resourceful and show a willingness to learn;
• You are ready to work in an industrial environment that is dusty noisy and sometimes outdoors exposed to varying temperatures;
• You are able to wear the required personal protective equipment (mask earplugs goggles helmet coveralls);
• You have a vehicle (please note the site is not accessible by public transportation).
