Job Summary

As the AAA Psychology team is rapidly growing we are seeking a dedicated Provisional Psychologist to enter our supportive respectful and professional workplace within in NDIS space.

You will be working within a passionate multi-disciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapists Speech Therapists Behaviour Support Practitioners and Exercise Physiologists.

Full-Time and Part-time (min. 4 days) position is available.

At AAA the Provisional Psychologists primary role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high quality therapeutic evidenced-based and client-centered interventions in a professional confidential and culturally safe manner.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments (using clinical observations and standardised assessments) and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
  • Be responsible for supporting and managing your case load.
  • Support Participants and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans.
  • Collaborate with other Health Professionals and key stakeholders regarding clients care.
  • Complete case notes reports and other correspondence in line with required standards relevant legislative requirements and ethical guidelines. 
  • Attend monthly team meetings and team led in-services.
  • Engage in weekly internal supervision with the Team Leader

Qualifications :

  • Current registration with AHPRA  
  • Completed masters in psychology
  • A high standard for of professional ethics
  • Working with Childrens Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Drivers License (minimum Provisional) and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
