Job Summary

3rd shift MFG Maintenance Mechanic III needs 7-plus years mechanic experience preferably in a manufacturing environment

3rd shift MFG Maintenance Mechanic III requires:

Sun-Fri 1030p-630a
Associate degree in mechanical technology electrical technology or engineering science a plus.
Vocational training Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or military technical training strongly preferred.
Advanced technical knowledge of machine shop operations welding mechanical/electrical maintenance principles (shafts bearings gearboxes hydraulics pneumatics AC/DC motors starters contactors three phase power PLCs) required.
Ability to read blueprints possess advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and production maintenance work experience.
Initiative/motivation and communication skill required.
Advanced skills and knowledge of the repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment electric motors pneumatic systems hydraulic systems conveyor systems PLCs bearings shafts production machines and liquid filling equipment required

3rd shift MFG Maintenance Mechanic III duties:

Repair maintain and support equipment on both Aerosol and Hair Care Packaging lines to maximize productivity and quality including changeovers set-ups installation and adjustments
Troubleshoot machine downtime events and utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve issues at their source.
