Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Hostess to join our team in Novotel Cairo El Borg Hotel Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Coordinate with wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor dining room for cleanliness and proper table settings
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally
- Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints
- Maintain an organized host stand and reservation system
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer-facing role for 1 year
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong guest engagement abilities and a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for managing reservations and wait lists
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems
- Well-groomed appearance and professional presentation
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- University degree in a related discipline preferred
