Were seeking an experienced Simulation Test Engineer with solid expertise in Altair tools to join our dynamic automotive engineering this role youll perform advanced simulations to assess and enhance vehicle performance safety and durability. Youll work closely with design testing and validation teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions that meet industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct simulation and analysis using Altair HyperWorks OptiStruct and related tools.
- Develop and execute test models to evaluate structural integrity and system performance.
- Analyze and interpret results providing clear recommendations to design teams.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure simulation accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain testing documentation and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Automotive or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
- 4 years of experience in simulation and testing within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Altair tools (e.g. HyperMesh Radioss OptiStruct or HyperView).
- Strong understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) and mechanical system behavior.
- Good communication skills in English (required); Swedish is meritorious.
