The Role
Position: Reception Teacher
Location: Reading Berkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Reception Teacher you will:
- Lead a Reception class through an engaging play-based curriculum
- Support childrens early literacy numeracy and personal development
- Create an inspiring and inclusive classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- (If applicable) Lead a subject area or phase to enhance school-wide provision
What Were Looking For
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- EYFS or Reception teaching experience
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and assessment
- Warmth creativity and a reflective approach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Openness to leadership opportunities (if seeking a TLR)
