The Role
Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Reading Berkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Year 1 Teacher you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bridge EYFS and KS1 learning
- Support pupils early literacy and numeracy progress
- Create an inclusive classroom that nurtures confidence and curiosity
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure strong outcomes
- (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase
What Were Looking For
- QTS and KS1 experience (Year 1 preferred)
- Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early phonics
- Enthusiasm creativity and a reflective approach
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
