Job Summary

A welcoming Good primary in Manchester is looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join the Early Years team on a Part-Time basis from January 2026. This Part-Time EYFS Teacher vacancy is perfect for a reflective practitioner who loves play-based learning and who wants to be part of a collegial staff team. The successful EYFS Teacher will start planning before January 2026 undertake induction in early January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as part of a well-resourced EYFS hub.

About the role: the EYFS Teacher will design a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment lead high-quality phonics and early literacy sessions and develop childrens communication and physical development skills. The EYFS Teacher will assess progress using formative observation and ensure smooth transitions into Year 1. This Part-Time EYFS Teacher post is structured so that the EYFS Teacher teaches focused days while still engaging in planning and staff meetings.

EYFS Teacher Responsibilities

  • The EYFS Teacher will plan and deliver play-based learning that meets the Early Years Foundation Stage profile.
  • The EYFS Teacher will lead phonics and early maths activities and track childrens progress.
  • The EYFS Teacher will build positive partnerships with families and run parent workshops.
  • The EYFS Teacher will contribute to whole-school events starting with induction in January 2026.

EYFS Teacher Requirements

  • QTS or EYTS and recent EYFS classroom experience as an EYFS Teacher.
  • A calm creative approach and a proven track record as an EYFS Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and a team-player mindset as an EYFS Teacher.
