The role of the KS1 Teacher
The KS1 Teacher will teach mixed-ability early-primary classes focusing on phonics early reading and foundational numeracy. As the KS1 Teacher you will deliver carefully differentiated lessons run small-group interventions and use day-to-day assessment to move learning on. The KS1 Teacher will collaborate with teaching assistants and the KS1 phase leader to ensure continuity for pupils from January 2026 through the spring term and beyond. Even as a Part-Time KS1 Teacher you will participate in weekly phase planning and receive the same coaching and CPD offered to Full-Time colleagues.
