KS1 Teacher – Manchester – January 2026 Start

The role of the KS1 Teacher
The KS1 Teacher will teach mixed-ability early-primary classes focusing on phonics early reading and foundational numeracy. As the KS1 Teacher you will deliver carefully differentiated lessons run small-group interventions and use day-to-day assessment to move learning on. The KS1 Teacher will collaborate with teaching assistants and the KS1 phase leader to ensure continuity for pupils from January 2026 through the spring term and beyond. Even as a Part-Time KS1 Teacher you will participate in weekly phase planning and receive the same coaching and CPD offered to Full-Time colleagues.

KS1 Teacher requirements
QTS and recent KS1 experience as a KS1 Teacher.
A calm adaptable KS1 Teacher with a positive approach to inclusion and assessment.
Commitment to collaborative working: the KS1 Teacher will attend CPD in January 2026 and planning meetings in January 2026.

Start & contract
This is a Part-Time KS1 Teacher vacancy starting January 2026. The Part-Time KS1 Teacher will receive induction from January 2026 and will have protected planning time while teaching from January 2026. The contract is Part-Time and permanent for the KS1 Teacher appointed in January 2026.
