Job Summary
MalaceHR is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair tasks on building systems equipment and production machinery. This role ensures facility assets operate safely and efficiently while supporting daily operations under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers. Shift is Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of equipment and building systems.
Maintain and repair manufacturing process equipment including pumps motors hydraulics and speed/feed systems.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems temperature and pressure controls and indoor air quality systems.
Support building automation and monitoring systems.
Maintain spare parts and replacement inventory.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards participating in employee safety training and pre-task planning.
Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasks within established timeframes.
Collaborate with team members and management to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Performance Expectations
Meet safety-related objectives and participate in continuous safety improvement processes.
Maintain timely completion of preventive maintenance (PM) and work orders.
Attend all scheduled training sessions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a technical training program preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in general building maintenance mechanical repair plumbing and basic electrical work.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to follow company and client policies and procedures.
Certifications & Licenses
Valid state drivers license required.
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking climbing bending kneeling lifting and overhead work.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Comfortable using ladders up to 30 ft and working at heights.
Must be able to climb ladders carrying tools weighing approximately 20 lbs.
