National Sales Manager/Director of National Sales (Remote)

About the Role
Our company is seeking a high-energy accountability-driven Director of National Sales to lead and scale our commercial organization. This is a fully remote role (US-based) with travel expected 50% of the time. You will lead a team of five (5) field sales representatives owning the pipeline driving quotas and being the motivational engine behind their addition as the company pursues strategic growth via acquisitions or integrations youll play a key role in melding new teams assessing market synergies and accelerating revenue expansion.

What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead coach mentor and hold accountable a team of 5 field sales reps ensuring consistent execution and growth.

  • Build manage and optimize the national pipeline: forecast accurately identify gaps implement corrective actions.

  • Drive sales strategies territory plans and resource allocation to hit quota objectives.

  • Set performance metrics monitor KPIs and enforce accountability while cultivating a winning and supportive culture.

  • Facilitate sales support training deal reviews competitive strategy and cross-functional alignment (marketing clinical operations).

  • Serve as a bridge during mergers & acquisitions: integrate newly acquired sales teams unify processes identify cross-sell / upsell opportunities and ensure continuity of revenue.

  • Partner with senior leadership to define market expansion priorities and new product launches.

  • Travel 50% of the time with expectation of visiting large regional markets team meetings customer sites and integration targets.

  • Stay current on market dynamics competitor landscape and regulatory developments; feed learnings into strategiс planning.

Where Youll Be Based
You must be located in or near a major U.S. hub airport (e.g. near LAX ATL ORD DFW SFO etc.) enabling easy national travel.

What We Expect (Qualifications & Attributes)

  • Bachelors degree (Business Life Sciences Engineering or related)

  • 7 years of medical device sales leadership or senior sales management experience

  • Preferably experienced in disposables / consumables / single-use medical products or high-volume procedural device sales

  • Demonstrated success leading remote / distributed field teams strong track record of hitting quotas via others

  • Excellent organizational skills process orientation and ability to drive discipline in forecasting pipeline hygiene and follow-through

  • Strong interpersonal coaching and conflict-management skills

  • High energy gritty work-ethic results-first mindset and culture-builder mindset

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and adept at balancing short-term execution with long-range strategy

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 50%)
