Location: Panama City FL 32401

Shift: 10 HR Days 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team on a day shift basis. The ideal candidate will have acute hospital experience and be able to provide clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting to ensure safe and effective medication use for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and accurately verify medication orders into the pharmacy system.
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals according to established protocols and best practices.
Monitor patient drug therapy for contraindications drug-drug and drug-food interactions allergies and dosage appropriateness.
Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals and patients.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Education:
- B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
Experience:
- Open to New Graduate Pharmacists who have completed a hospital-based internship.
- Required: Minimum of one year of recent hospital experience or successful completion of a PGY-1 residency in a hospital setting.
- Required: Acute care hospital experience within the last year.
- Minimum of one year of hospital experience is preferred.
Licensure:
- Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Florida.
