Location: Ocala FL 34470
Shift: 12-hr Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in Ocala FL. As an ICU RN you will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients in our Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients.
Monitor and assess patient conditions recognizing changes that require intervention.
Administer medications manage IV lines and provide treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Educate patients and families regarding condition treatment and care after discharge.
Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Licensure:
- Active Florida RN license or compact RN license.
- Compact license holders must obtain a Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN - Adult) must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required (within the last 3 years); prefers higher level acuity than Med/Surg.
- Strong Med/Surg RNs will be considered.
