Project/Engagement Deliverables
We are seeking a contract macOS Desktop Engineer to support the buildout and expansion of our enterprise macOS environment. This role is critical in helping us offer macOS as a supported platform alongside Windows by October 1st. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with macOS administration Microsoft Intune and scripting for automation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for macOS devices escalating when necessary.
- Administer macOS devices using Microsoft Intune including:
- Configuration profiles
- Compliance policies
- Application deployment
- Custom scripting (Bash PowerShell)
- Develop and implement macOS onboarding workflows using Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
- Collaborate closely with the Workstation Management and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless deployment and support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for macOS support deployment and configuration.
- Assist with end-user support when escalated from the Helpdesk.
- Assist with training Helpdesk and field technicians in the Support Services team.

- 3 years of experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience managing macOS devices with Microsoft Intune.
- Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting for macOS automation.
- Strong understanding of macOS system architecture security and user management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
