Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to join a fast-paced development team within a major financial institution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend framework development scalable architecture and microservices. This role involves designing building and optimizing core backend components while maintaining high performance reliability and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and enhance scalable and distributed backend services using Python.
Build reusable maintainable and high-performance backend frameworks and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
Review and optimize code for performance scalability and best practices.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Write unit tests using pytest or unittest to ensure software quality.
Troubleshoot debug and maintain applications in production environments.
Work in an Agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience:

5 years of hands-on backend development experience using Python.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming.
Experience developing framework-level components or microservices.
Proficiency with databases both SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra).
Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and system design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines Git and automation tools.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
Strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Nice to Have:

Prior experience in financial services or enterprise-scale platforms.
Exposure to containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka RabbitMQ).
