Job Description

Skill: AWS Cloud Data Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

Data engineering background and hands-on work experience building data pipelines ETL/ELT using AWS services (Ex. S3 Glue Step Function Athena DMS Storage Gateway flavors of RDS).
Strong SQL skills.
Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
Good Python programming skills.
Experience sourcing and exposing data via Rest API.
Applications Integration experience.
Candidate should know how to build ETL pipeline but doesnt require deep knowledge on any ETL tool.
Python and AWS (Glue S3 Step Function are main services) expertise is must.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work with a team dedicated to the design development and delivery of Data Mesh in the organization. This solution will eventually be providing services across multiple lines of business within the organization.
Will collaborate closely with Data architects for design work and develop secure and scalable application solutions using the AWS data products.
This position includes the ability to code data pipelines that ETL data without the use of an ETL tool.
