Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Conduct interviews with staff and family to gather background information prior to plan development
Create individualized behaviour support plans using ABA and verbal behaviour strategies
Analyse data to identify patterns and triggers of problem behaviours
Observe individuals in relevant settings to assess behaviour functions
Define and measure target behaviours using objective data-driven systems
Design interventions incorporating antecedents teaching methods and consequences
Ensure interventions align with the function of the behaviour and promote positive change
Train staff in person on plan implementation providing opportunities for Q&A and feedback
Monitor behaviour data monthly and document progress

Qualifications

Must be certified as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Proven experience in ABA and behaviour support planning preferred
