Sr QA Engineer

Role Overview:

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development DevOps and product to ensure high-quality releases optimize test coverage and enable continuous automation within CI/CD pipelines. Experience in the eCommerce domain is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain API automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.
  
• Implement AI-assisted test generation leveraging Gemini or similar LLM-based tools.
  
• Automate REST and GraphQL APIs covering all CRUD operations (GET POST PUT PATCH DELETE).
  
• Analyze Swagger / Postman collections and convert endpoints into reusable automated test suites.
  
• Ensure high reusability maintainability and test data integrity across automation scripts.
  
• Integrate automation workflows within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps).
  
• Generate detailed HTML / Allure test reports with logs assertions and performance insights.
  
• Troubleshoot automation issues perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolutions.
  
• Partner with development and QA teams to maximize test coverage and ensure release readiness.
  
• Contribute to framework enhancements code reviews and best practice adoption.
  

Technical Skills Required:

Core Automation:

• Strong experience in API test automation using Robot Framework or PyTest.
  
• Proficient in Python JSON REST and HTTP protocols.
  
• Hands-on experience with Robot libraries (RequestsLibrary Collections OperatingSystem etc.).
  
• Solid understanding of test methodologies defect lifecycle and test documentation.
  
• Experience with data-driven keyword-driven or hybrid frameworks.
  

AI & Advanced Automation:

• Exposure to Gemini OpenAI or similar LLM-based automation platforms.
  
• Experience leveraging AI for test case generation coverage expansion and result validation.
  
• Ability to integrate AI-generated scripts into existing frameworks seamlessly.
  

Tools & DevOps:

• CI/CD: Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps GitHub Actions.
  
• API Tools: Swagger Postman Insomnia.
  
• Version Control: Git Bitbucket.
  
• Reporting: Allure Robot HTML Logs Extent Reports.
  
• Databases: MongoDB (basic understanding).
  

Good to Have:

• Experience in eCommerce domain (orders payments catalog promotions).
  
• Familiarity with microservices and contract testing (Pact Dredd).
  
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and cloud-based testing environments.
