We are representing a premier JSE-listed financial services organization known for consistently delivering market-exceeding growth and results. This is a unique opportunity to join their high-impact technology team working on key projects at the forefront of the companys digital transformation. You will partner directly with business stakeholders to develop transactional websites and line-of-business systems that are central to the companys success story.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to achieve the following key outcomes:

Overhaul a Core Client-Facing Feature: Within the first 9 months take ownership of a key project to re-architect and develop a major feature for one of the companys primary transactional websites. Success means delivering a scalable secure and well-tested module that measurably improves the user experience for a key client journey.
Streamline an Internal Business Process: By the end of year one design develop and deploy a new internal application or service that automates a critical business process. The goal is to deliver a solution that reduces manual workload and increases operational efficiency for our internal teams.
Modernize a Key Application Component: Within the first 6-8 months lead the initiative to refactor a significant component of an existing line-of-business system migrating from legacy Web Forms to a modern Core API structure. This will involve improving code quality scalability and maintainability.
Enhance Deployment and System Stability: Actively contribute to improving the teams CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices. Success will be measured by demonstrable improvement in deployment frequency and reduction in production bugs for your assigned projects ensuring maximum system uptime.
