The Data Lead is responsible for overseeing the organizations data architecture ensuring structured data management and guiding data design strategies. This role requires a strong technical foundation in data structuring governance and integration along with proven leadership experience in managing data teams. The Data Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity optimize data flows and support strategic decision-making.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management data architecture or a similar role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing data teams for 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL NoSQL etc.) data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience with data governance compliance regulations and security best practices.
- Proficiency in cloud data platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and data integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business terms.
- Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies (Snowflake Hadoop Spark etc.).
- Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau etc.).
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus.
- Agile project management experience.
