Job Summary:--

MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Heavy Equipment Operators in Lakeland FL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:--

• Operates heavy equipment such asall terrain excavator vacuum truck concrete truck street sweeper all terrain mower slope mower bobcat rubber tire backhoe front-end loader steel rollers asphalt distributor and payloader in addition to the skilled operation of motor grader gradall and track hoe.
• Drives and operates trucks and transports materials needed for projects and keeps all equipment on trucks in working order.
• Operates excavator in digging ditches laying pipe and cutting down slopes.
• Performs light maintenance and servicing in connection with the operation of heavy equipment.
• Requires heavy work that involves lifting shoveling walking or standing most of the time and carrying 35 to 100 pounds on a regular and recurring basis along with exerting up to 100 pounds of force on a frequent basis.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma from an accredited school or its equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in the operation of construction and maintenance equipment and heavy trucks.
• Must have CDLs

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
