Warehouse Janitor

Presently seeking a Warehouse Janitor for our Maintenance Department to join our rapidly growing Team. This position will report directly to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance. Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm.
Warehouse Janitor Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors.
- Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
- Perform minor repairs.
- Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Experience as custodian janitor or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices

Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Must have the ability to do simple math such as Add and Subtract
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous work experience within the last 2 years preferred.
- Entry level position
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
