Job Description
1. Finalization of Accounts
- Prepare and finalize monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
2. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with statutory auditors internal auditors and tax auditors for timely completion of audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Assist in implementation of audit recommendations.
3. Direct Taxation
- Assist in computation and filing of income tax returns.
- Handle TDS compliance including deduction payment and filing of returns.
- Respond to notices and queries from tax authorities under supervision.
4. Indirect Taxation
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns.
- Reconcile GST input credit and resolve mismatches.
- Assist in GST audits and departmental assessments.
- Stay updated with changes in GST laws and ensure compliance.
5. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in variance analysis and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1/2 year of experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles taxation laws and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel accounting software.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
