Our busy Hyundai dealership with over 60 appointments a day is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Dispatcher to join our service team!
About the Role: As our Automotive Service Dispatcher youll be the heartbeat of the service department ensuring efficient workflow between customers advisors and technicians. Youll coordinate repair orders balance workloads and help deliver an exceptional customer experience that keeps our Hyundai drivers coming back.
Key Responsibilities: The Automotive Service Dispatcher will:
- Sschedule and assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level and availability
- Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Communicate with service advisors and technicians to manage workflow and prioritize urgent repairs
- Maintain accurate records and support overall service department operations
- Help maintain a clean organized and professional environment
What Were Looking For: The Automotive Service Dispatcher will need:
- Previous experience as a service dispatcher service advisor (automotive industry preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Dealertrack and Xtime or similar systems a plus)
- A customer-first mindset and attention to detail
