Summary Statement
The Delaware Department of Justice is seeking a dynamic and experienced attorney to serve as Chief County Prosecutor (CCP) for the Sussex County Criminal Division. This key leadership role oversees the overall management and supervision of the Division which includes the Felony Trial Unit Misdemeanor Trial Unit Felony Screening Unit and Special Victims Unit as well as all assigned Deputy Attorneys General investigators and support staff.The Chief County Prosecutor provides strategic direction and guidance on prosecutorial priorities policies and legal strategies to ensure the fair efficient and effective enforcement of criminal law. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership sound judgment and a commitment to justice and public service.

Juris Doctor (J.D.): Must possess a law degree from an accredited institution.
Bar admission: Must be an active member in good standing of the Delaware bar association.
