Emergency Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician and Critical Care Paramedic

We are looking for Casual Emergency Medical Assistants Emergency Medical Technicians and Critical Care Paramedics to join us on an as and when required basis for the Mid North area.

We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can settle into our team with ease work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour willingness to contribute to station portfolios and champion clinical excellence.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A current St John Authority to Practice at First Responder EMT or CCP
• and be registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council if holding ATP of CCP
• Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
• Excellent driving record
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
• The ability to work under pressure
• Evidence of CCE
• New Zealand citizenship permanent residency or work visa
• Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St Johns core values - Do the right thing (Mahi Tika) Side by Side (Tū Tahi) Straight Up (Mahi Pono) Make it better (Whakapai Ake) Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
