We are seeking a skilled Model-BasedDesign Engineer (MBD Engineer) to join our team. The ideal candidate willhave hands-on experience with ASPICE processes MAAB Guidelines and the V-Model/V-Cycle excellent knowledge of object-oriented software design and proficiency in C/C.
Roles and responsibilities:
In this role you will be part of BMSfunctional application team The following responsibilities will be expectedfrom you:
- Design and Development:Design and implement Model-Based Development (MBD) software components for the BMS
- Testing and Validation:Perform Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and unit testing to ensure component quality adhering to the defined Definition of Done.
- Maintenance and Bug Fixing:Analyze existing software components identify issues and implement effective fixes.
- Debugging and Problem-Solving:Investigate and resolve software issues by performing root cause analysis developing corrective actions and proposing optimized solutions.
- Process Implementation:Understand adapt and cascade customer-defined processes to the development team ensuring seamless and consistent application.
- Customer Communication:Act as the primary technical interface with Product Owners ensuring Requirements Processes and Insights are well understood clarified and implemented efficiently.
- Agile Collaboration:Contribute actively toAgile development processes participating in sprints reviews and continuousimprovement of workflows and practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering Computer Science Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience:5 years of experience in Model-Based Development within the automotive sector (experience with BMS is a strong advantage).
- Technical Tools:Proficiency with SCADE and MATLAB/Simulink (including scripting) is mandatory.
- Requirement Management:Strong experience with requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS and Codebeamer.
- Standards & Processes:Hands-on experience with ASPICE processes MAAB Guidelines and the V-Model/V-Cycle.
- Programming:Excellent knowledge of object-oriented software design and proficiency in C/C.
- Configuration & Quality:Familiarity with software configuration management tools defect tracking systems and peer review practices.
- Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving analytical and debugging skills.
- Languages:Fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered a strong asset.
