As a Regional Service Manager- you will be responsible for providing office and field-based technical support for our product lines including diagnostic assistance technical training and management of FASs customer operational training tradeshows and strategic account/market tests. Mentor and train lower-level technicians claims analysts and other internal personnel

Reporting directly to the Manager Technical Service; this position is based out of our New Albany IN office. The ideal candidate would be local however may consider remote in the US.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Answer technical assistance inquiries from service agents sales and customers.
  • Domestic and potential international travel to support customer/product issues field or market tests and service agent training needs.
  • Participate on cross functional meetings such as NPI EIM and others as assigned. Provides field data input into key functional areas of the brand.
  • Identifies monitors and reports major field quality/service issues logs data and reports out to Engineering Quality and Product Management teams.
  • Identifies develops and formats literature and training curriculum content. Translates materials into call center scripting for internal and external resource use.
  • Participate in on-call rotation supplying technical support to customers and service agencies after normal business hours.
  • Mentor and coach lower-level technical resources.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in Customer or Technical Service; with a minimum of three years experience with commercial foodservice equipment is required. Will consider a minimum of five years of experience servicing foodservice equipment in lieu of education.
  • Preferred experience with carbonated beverage dispensing equipment.
  • Good personnel management and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
  • Exercise high degree of tact diplomacy problem solving skills and enterprise thinking process.
  • Data analysis and time management.
  • Knowledge about commercial refrigeration tools and their use.
  • Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Refrigerant handling certification Electrical or Electronic is a plus.
  • Normal office environment commercial kitchen/restaurant C-stores. Should be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Spanish language desired
