JOB Senior Electrical Design Engineer

LOCATION Glasgow

TERM Permanent

SALARYper annum dependent on experience

My client is a building services design consultancy. They are looking for Senior Electrical Design Engineers (Intermediate and Senior level) to join their team in the Glasgow on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Design Engineers will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree HNC/HND or ONC qualified in a relevant subject i.e. Electrical Engineering Building Services Engineering or similar
A least 3-5 years experience working in a similar design position
Experience using design software (AutoCAD Revit Amtech ElectricalOM Dialux Relux)
Experience with Revit Modelling
Ideally have a background within MEP Design
Strong project management skills
Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a friendly and professional manner
Flexible to travel sometimes to meet clients and visit other offices

The Electrical Design Engineer roles will involve:

Sketching designing and producing proposal solutions to meet client specification
Working within a team to deliver the entire design process
Understanding and meeting latest regulations
Working from home and in office as well as travelling to client meetings and other offices at times
Senior Electrical design Engineers will also be:
- Managing engineering projects and their team
- Monitoring timescales and standards of projects
- Overseeing the training and development of less experienced engineers
