- Research define and compare valid high-speed motor concepts for optimal compatibility with system level components to yield low cost and high efficiency solutions
- Execute drive cycle simulations to produce key performance indicators for comparison of drivetrain configurations
- Investigate thermal solution improvements and alternative cooling approaches
- Cross-correlate results with e-powertrain test rig data: analyze process and digest test data from 2in1 3in1 and two-wheel dyno units
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure component/platform limitations are adhered to and cost models are up to date
DESIRABLE BACKGROUND
- Student in last year (of Masters) of mechanical or electrical engineering
- Hands of experience in the areas of system level electromagnetic/mechanical/thermal management of electric powertrains
- Experience with Ansys Matlab 3D design modelling tools MS Office Suite
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English (At least technical English level)
- Duration: minimum 6 months
