Job Summary
The primary responsibility of a Drafter 1 is to produce accurate and complete detailing deliverables (drawings shop details BOMs etc.) for low-complexity projects following established drafting standards and procedures. This entry-level role focuses on applying fundamental knowledge of metal building systems and drafting tools such as AutoCAD Tekla etc.. with a strong emphasis on quality accuracy and on-time delivery. The Drafter 1 is expected to execute assigned tasks independently while continuously developing their technical and procedural understanding.
Qualifications :
Requirements
- Experience in metal building drafting or a related field.
- High School diploma in technical drawing or an Architectural Drafting degree.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Strong PC Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Advanced English communication skills (B2 level)
- Comprehensive understanding of the US customary units system.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong mathematical skills preference for profiles with an Engineering background or Architects with strong math aptitude.
Requirements
- Experience with Tekla Structures and Trimble Connect software including checking Tekla drawings and BOMs.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Familiarity with metal buildings structures and detailing standards.
Certifications
- Relevant industry certifications are highly valued.
