Eastern Virginia Ear Nose & Throat is seeking a HR & Credentialing Specialists who has good understanding of HR laws and credentialing to join our team. We are a busy ENT practice with three locations accross the Hampton Roads areas.

- Responsible for Posting open positions within Career Plug (hiring platform) maintaining and reviewing submitted applications pre-screening candidates performing interviews and launching and completing the hiring processes through onboarding processes.
- Onboarding of new staff including new Providers APPs etc.
- Knowledge of unemployment and filings
- Experience in effective conflict resolution
- Develop and Maintains 70 Employee/ Provider files (Physician APP and Audiologist files)
- Assist management and staff with HR FMLA STD Timeclock 30/60/90 Day reviews Employee PIP and Disciplinary reviews.
- Maintain and update Employee Manual on an annual basis.
- Coordinate Annual Benefits Enrollment and assist staff with issues around benefits.
- Ensure Annual Compliance is completed by staff.
- Works with Administration to coordinate employee engagement activities/ initiatives.
- Complete Physician Audiologist and Advanced Practice Provider credentialing for local hospitals review and update CAQH profiles and maintain all insurance updates and credentialing for all providers * MUST have a strong understanding of Insurance & Hospital credentialing. Knowledge of CAQH and obtaining NPIs and licensing for new Medical Doctors or APPs
- Review and maintain license updates for physicians and APPs.
- Maintain Physician APP and Audiologist files.
- Coordinate Peer to Peer reviews for Physicians of APPs -done quarterly.
Travel between offices on occasion for onboarding & events etc.
Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities and learn new software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including letters memos and emails.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to research and analyze data.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers management staff and contacts outside the organization.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Access) and internet.
