Accounting Technician 1 located in Juneau!
No Cover Letter Required!




This position is in the General Government Unit (GGU) at a Range 12.


What You Will Be Doing:
Join our Fiscal Section within the Administrative Services Division as a key member of the Revenue this role you will be responsible for monitoring and posting revenue receipts processing inter-agency payments and performing a variety of administrative tasks. You will also support front desk operations including handling mail. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
The position is located in Department of Labor and Workforce Development building at 1111 W. 8th Ave Ste 308 Juneau Alaska 99801. The building sits along the Gastineau Channel next to the Sea Walk and Whale Sculpture. The office has a beautiful view of Mt. Juneau and downtown Juneau and offers ample parking.

Qualifications

One year of clerical work experience maintaining records that included using computer systems and performing basic arithmetic calculations.

Substitutions:
Successful completion of a formal vocational education program in accounting or bookkeeping will substitute for the required experience.

Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month).
