Eastern Virginia Ear Nose & Throat Specialist is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 3 years experience in working directly with a physician.
The applicant will work out of our Harbour View & Chesapeake locations for a current time period and then work at the Virginia Beach office as well.

The applicant will be a Medical Assistant that has graduated from an accredited program with at least one year of clinical experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct clinical care to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct basic assessment of patients including: measuring and recording of vital signs auscultation of lung sounds and patient questioning.
- Conduct basic assessment of patients by verifying patient information by interviewing patient recording medical history and confirming purpose of visit.
- Counsels patients by transmitting providers orders and prescriptions.
- Maintain a clean and productive work area for team and patients.
- Assists with daily department duties of cleaning restocking ordering supplies etc.
- Willingness to learn and work with a team and provide coverage as needed for all providers
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Position is a full-time Monday-Friday job with a full-benefit package offered after 60 days of employment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience working directly with a provider 2-3 years minimum
- Willingness to work in multiple locations
