Job Profile
The Center for Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Clinician (COSPT) in Tallahassee Florida is responsible for providing outcomes-accountable musculoskeletal care using the standardized assessment and treatment methodology designed by Integrated Musculoskeletal Care (IMC). To achieve this goal COSPT clinicians undergo rigorous training upon beginning their career with IMC and strive for continuous improvement facilitated by weekly IMC quality-assurance sessions and monthly IMC training sessions. COSPT clinicians are measured on their ability to provide excellent clinical and humanistic outcomes for patients participating in the IMC program.
The COSPT vestibular/balance/general rehab therapist is responsible for providing care to patients with a wide range of outpatient conditions including vestibular balance mobility impairments post-surgical care and generalized weaknesses. The position is a great fit for any clinician that has a wide range of experience and/or interest in treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess and treat vestibular patients using research-based treatment methods.
- Plans organize and implement specific treatment programs for patients based on their individual diagnoses.
- Document patient outcomes and progress modifying plan of care as needed and communicates findings to referring physician(s).
- Educate patient and medically authorized family members regarding diagnoses and recovery processes.
- Communicate with patients referring physicians clinical staff and medically authorized family members as needed to improve patient functional independent mobility for home and community environments.
- Provide excellent service and quality care to patients participating in care at COSPT.
- Facilitate the collection of clinical outcomes for COSPT patients at each visit.
- Review clinical outcomes data for each patient and utilize the data to drive assessment and treatment decisions.
- Participate in monthly clinical meetings.
Competitive Pay
$85000 - $97500 annual base salary.
