The Role:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Allocate and optimise resources (labour plant and materials) to improve project productivity.
- Monitor project progress highlight risks and provide accurate progress reports forecasts and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with design engineering and construction teams to ensure realistic and achievable programmes.
- Assess the impact of design or scope changes conducting time-risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with NEC contract principles and industry best practices.
- Support tender processes by preparing tender programmes and contributing to bid deliverables.
The Person:
- A relevant degree / qualification in Construction or Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Project Planner / Programmer in the construction and engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
