Main Responsibilities
Advice and co-ordination
- Co-ordinate the regular work of the Service its projects and key initiatives by providing timely strategic advice input and analysis monitoring client expectations and future needs facilitating co-operation and information sharing and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to and co-ordinate the development implementation and oversight of other corporate and horizontal projects and initiatives as necessary ensuring their alignment with EXD strategic objectives and advising on feasibility impact on resources and expected returns and outputs while taking account of the Organisations management control frameworks.
Liaison and communication
- Prepare co-ordinate and quality-check briefing notes talking points and other documents for the Executive Director the Secretary-General and Standing Committees in a high-pace environment requiring a hands-on approach.
- Lead and coordinate the drafting of EXD/CSI inputs for key reporting documents including the EXD Committee Progress Report and the Annual Management Report.
- Represent EXD/CSI in the Executive Directorate and cross-directorate meetings as required.
- Supervise EXD/CSIs communications activities and collaborate closely with colleagues across EXD to ensure messages are clear timely consistent and tailored to their audiences.
Leadership Support and Office Management
- Support the effective functioning of the Head of Services team providing guidance on effective working methods good communication and creating a positive working environment.
- Contribute to the day-to-day work of the Head of Services office in planning and distributing assignments ensuring quality outputs and meeting key deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Background
- An advanced university degree in business administration international affairs politics information systems or other related discipline.
Professional Background
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in an international context.
- Proven experience in communications team management/co-ordination and corporate/organisational engagement and proven capacity to prioritise and coordinate resources effectively.
- An understanding of the governance and operations frameworks of the OECD as well as a solid understanding of governance in international organisations and the public sector more broadly.
- Proven experience delivering effective outcomes under tight deadlines.
Tools
- Proficiency in the use of standard software applications (MS Office).
