Legal Counsel (All Genders)

There is a need for a mid legal counsel in Paris to assist with Product compliance matters in the Compliance department. This person would assist me on ensuring the compliance of our products and services with applicable laws and regulations and notably:

• Identify and analyze regulatory risks related to the companys products and services
• Help developing and implementing internal procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Collaborate with legal business and operational teams to ensure compliance of new projects.
• Conduct audits and internal controls to verify the application of standards and legal obligations.

Qualifications :

• Experience: 4 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or compliance officer preferably in a media or digital / tech company or as a lawyer specialized in digital sector.

• Expertise: Strong knowledge of French and European regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR digital services regulation consumer law).

• Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong drafting and communication abilities (fluent in both French and English).
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

• Mindset: Proactive rigorous and business-oriented
