Job Summary

Head Start is a federally-funded national child and family development program which provides comprehensive services for pregnant people children from birth to age five and their families. Services for children promote school readiness and include early education health nutrition mental health and services for children with special needs. Services for parents promote family engagement and include parent leadership and social service a CVHS Classroom Assistant you will work in an outcomes-oriented team environment to provide individualized support to a specific child and the classroom teaching team for 32 hours per week. Training and ongoing support will be provided. 32 hours/week approximately 42 weeks/year (summer layoff). $20/hour. Health plan and excellent benefits.
